We work really hard while we are in school. Therefore, it is important to us to let your child be a kid when they get home. Life gets busy and we're exhausted when we get home from school, too. Homework Expectations:
- Each day, students will be required to read for 20 minutes. They will fill out a daily reading log in their reading notebook. This should be turned in daily. Please read once over the weekend! Once your child reaches 85 AR points, the reading log no longer needs to be done.
- One book project (of the student's choosing) will be completed once every two months. Due dates will be announced well in advance. Students will need to turn in the rubric for the project they are going to complete.
- Poetry Notebooks (to be practiced throughout the week)
